The project presents the new ROTO camera mount by Seacraft showcasing the product technical features through studio photography as well as some action shots on location.
Product design explained:
ROTO camera mount is dedicated both for professional videographers and also for less experienced photographers. Universal construction allows to connect different types of cameras and adapt it to personal needs.
The following picture shows the camera mount as it sits in place on the diving propulsion viachle.
Product assembly diagram:
Some other studio shots provide construction details and assembly instructions for the RotoMount.
The project couldn't exclude some action shots to provide an idea of how the mount works in the real world. The beautiful water entrance at the Oliero's cave seemed to be the perfect location for the shoot.
Lighting the cave entrance has been relatively easy thanks to portable flash units and collapsable Chimera beauty dish modifier. Lighttools Ultrasoft Egg creates gave me a considerable edge over light control creating some visual interest through the contrast.
Unfortunately the cave conditions (typically bad during the summer) didn't allow for an underwater photography session.
The following BTS video shows our crew at work on location during the shoot.
Thanks for watching.
