MT HAVEN Inner sanctum II
Following the previous project MT Haven's inner sanctum, this new series of photographs takes us on a journey across the wreck's exterior and into the heart of its machinery, revealing more facets of this underwater giant.

The darkness of the deep water envelops the MT Haven's massive hull, a steel giant slumbering on the seafloor. As we navigate the wreck, our lights cast an eerie glow on the surrounding structure. The water's clarity is remarkable, allowing us to capture the intricate details of the ship's machinery and architecture.
Descending onto the upper decks, the water pressure increases, and the silence is almost palpable. The ship's rusting hull provides a stark contrast to the vibrant marine life that has made it their home. Schools of fish dart between the twisted metal, adding a touch of life to the otherwise industrial landscape
In the engine room, the air is thick with anticipation. The massive engines, once the heartbeat of the ship, now lie still, a testament to the wreck's tragic fate. The technical diving expertise required to capture these shots is matched only by the sense of wonder and discovery that comes with exploring the unknown.
The strobe lights that illuminate the wreck's dark recesses also highlight the suspended particles in the water, creating an otherworldly atmosphere that draws the viewer into the depths.
As we navigated the wreck's labyrinthine corridors, the water's density and pressure seemed to slow time itself, allowing us to capture the beauty in the decay.
The massive propeller, once a key component of the ship's propulsion system, now lies still, a testament to the wreck's tragic fate.
The slow shutter speeds and careful composition required to capture the wreck's structures evoke the deliberate and measured pace of technical diving, where every movement counts.
Thanks for watching.
